Roade Village Scrapbook 1953

The Roade Women's Institute and Parish Council's entry in a Northamptonshire-wide Coronation Village Scrapbook competition. It was designed to elicit history within a living memory and the Scrapbook gives a lively and evocative account of village life in the first half of the twentieth century and earlier.
